I am running YaBB v 1 Gold - SP 1.3.1 on my old site.  I am moving the forum to a new site, different server, and decided to upgrade to SMF.  I copied the following files and folders over from the old server to the new:

Variables
Sources
Messages
Members
Boards
YaBB.pl
Settings.pl

Then I ran the yabb_to_smf.php that I downloaded from this site.  The converter reported the following:

Converting...
Converting membergroups... successful.
Converting members... successful.
Converting settings... successful.
Converting personal messages... successful.
Converting boards and categories... successful.
Converting mark read data... successful.
Converting topics (part 1)... successful.
Converting topics (part 2)... successful.
Converting notifications... successful.
Converting posts (part 1 - this may take some time)... successful.
Converting posts (part 2)... successful.
Converting posts (part 3)... successful.
Recalculating forum statistics (part 1)... successful.
Recalculating forum statistics (part 2)... successful.
Conversion Complete

The conversion took almost no time.  However, none of the boards, categories, or posts copied over.  The members, personal messages, profiles, etc copied over, just none of the actual post data or categories.

What did I do wrong?  How can I fix it?  Any suggestions and help are greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Are you sure the paths in Settings.pl work on the new server?

Does YaBB work on the new server?

I got YaBB installed on the new server, and the default installation worked.  When I moved the boards over, it gave me an authentication error a few times, as if I had the wrong password, then it gave me this error:
--
Status: 200 OK Cache-Control: no-cache, must-revalidate Pragma: no-cache Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1
OK

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

The error log is telling me that it can't find template.html in hxxp:subs.pl [nonactive] line 137, but there's no reference to template.html at line 137, and I've cleared up the reference at line 128 (it was complaining about that earlier).  I'm going to try going back to the default content and see if that works.  Any ideas?

Did you copy over the template.html?  Are you sure you updated the paths for the new server?  It may be necessary (that may be why it can't find template.html.)

I found another way to skin this cat.  I loaded SMF onto the old server, converted it, exported the database, and moved everything to the new server.  A couple minor changes in permissions and paths, and everything works great.  Thanks!
