After phpBB to SMF, when I administrate my bullitin board, I found that the group named "Moderator" doesn't exist at all but there is another group named "phpBB Moderator"?

How can I delete the group "phpBB Moderator" and add the group "Moderator" ?

Cheers

does moderator exist, but it's just empty?

I've jus done the same thing. You have add people as moderators to each forum, rather than set them to Moderator in their profile.

So go to the Manage Boards section
For each forum select modify
list the members you want to be moderators separated by commas

they will now be set as moderators.

i deleted the group phpbb moderators after removing the members from it.

If you want to add them as global moderators then you need to amend their profile and change them to the global moderator.

hope that helps

Yes, I've done that. However, every moderator now can not view even one board!!! After they log into my Bullitin Board, all the boards cannot show at all as the following

Well, what's wrong with renaming the group? :D Just go to Admin -> Membergroups -> phpBB Moderator [click] and rename it. :)

Yes, you right.

Moderator group exists but no member. All in PhPBB Moderator.

When you look at the boards, do you see "Moderator: username" below each board? If not, you should set them at Admin -> Boards -> board name [edit] -> Moderators. You'll see that the moderator group fills itself then. :)

Hope this helps,
Aaron.

And if it is not? I see empty Moderator group in my Administration section, but there are moderators in each forum... What can I do in this case?

In SMF moderator group is not the same as global moderator.
