[WIP] Monthly Banner

This Mod is a work in progress, and I am at the stage of needing people to BETA test it for me. So download it - kick the tires and let me know what you think.

If you have a portal - do not install this mod as it changes the index.template.php. I do plan a portal version at some point.

My target audience for this mod's use is "SMF for Dummies". All you need to know is how to use the package manager and can follow simple one line instructions. My design is graphic in nature, and adds to the ease of use.

For the Record:

This is not a official mod, and should only be used on a test board. Since I know no one is going to pay attention to that Please have the good seance to back up your forum files, and database before you install this mod.

Introduction:

Instead of having one boring banner all the time because it's too much trouble to change the layout use Monthly Banner!
Have graphic artists who want to change the forums banner all the time?
Install Monthly Banner and give them the tools to get the job done, and allow your forums tech person to take a vacation
from this tedious and tiring task.

Monthly Banner adds a banner to the top of your forum, and changes it every month.
All you have to do is use the built in uploader to add your banners.
Plan out the year in advance, and then don't worry about it till next year.

The uses for this mod are endless it all depends on your imagination!
- maybe you own a commercial site, and want to have monthly sales, or ads?
- maybe you want to have 12 holiday banners. One for each month?

I have included 12 banners in this mod as a sample of what you can do.

Installation:

This mod is made to be installed using the package manager, and has only been tested on SMF 2.0.4.
It should run fine on any SMF 2.X version. This mod will not work with a SMF 1.X version.

Instructions:

Just go to your admin area, and find the Banners button next to members.
Choose Add A Banner, or Remove A Banner, and follow the simple instructions.
The interface is graphically designed, and so it's dead simple to use!

I do have plans for the next version to show a banners for holidays - like Valentines day, etc...
I also plan to expand the mod to accept other image formats - like png, but I ran into a few snags with the thumbnail creator
so I need to do some more research on the subject.

I made a simple Ad Manager for Dream Portal awhile back. You are welcome to open the package, and see how I did it. Perhaps you can get some ideas from it, as long as you don't sell the code.
