Dear all,

I've a very strange problem with SMF 2.0.9 at the CodeBlocks forums (hxxp:forums.codeblocks.org [nonactive]):
After a while, users cannot post normal forum posts (PM's still work) and I in the error log I see usually always the following type of error:

hxxp:forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?action=post2;start=45;board=18 [nonactive]
Database Error: Incorrect key file for table './codeblo_smf/smf_messages.MYI'; try to repair it
File: /srv/forums.codeblocks.org/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 1817

...and:
hxxp:forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?action=post2;start=45;board=18 [nonactive]
Database Error: Duplicate entry '137658' for key 'PRIMARY'
File: /srv/forums.codeblocks.org/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 1817

Do you have any idea what's going on?
It usually works after I optimise the tables (Admin -> Maintenance -> Find and repair any errors), but its very annoying.

I would say that this is s problem with your host/server. Most likely the table "messages" gets damaged and the "find and repair errors" is able to repair it.

BTW: I'm a big fan of Code::Blocks (although I don't use it for some time already) ;)

Not really the answer I was hoping to get but looks like this could be the explanation. We run low of memory on the server from time to time... maybe there is a link...
