running different version mods in smf

Hi im just wondering, if i have mods running in version, lets say 2.0 rc3 do i have to make sure all mods are capable of running that version.

i installed a mod and worked ok, i installed a different mod under a different version in advanced tab and installed ok, but i noticed the unistal link had gone for one of the mods.

or do i install one by one in which version i like and only change the advance link to which ever version to unistall.

the version must match for the ability to install a mod and the version must also match for the ability to uninstall a mod. so it is recommended after you install a mod to reset the version back to match the version you are running. i do hope you plan on upgrading to RC5 if you are really running RC3.

hi im running rc5 2.00 its just i have mods that will only work on earlier version, i guess all i have to do is set the version each time to install or unistall.
