Add column on left side of Esintiler window.

I've installed Esintiler on SMF 1.1.12. I'd like to have a narrow column on the left side of the posting area, where I can place announcements. The header and nav bar will still go across the entire screen up above. Right now there is no such column, but I've seen it on other styles and I'm hoping it can be done here. can you explain what an "Esintiler" is? maybe a link to your forum? can you take a screenshot and show us where you want the changes?

Yes, this looks like the right place. I've downloaded ezportal. The problem now is that I haven't found any guidance on how to make the adjustment. I've tried reading the manual, but it is very brief and not helpful to one who is not a pro webmaster.
