I really like it. Is it available?

Thanks
TJ

That's Curve theme. It's default in SMF 2.0.

I see. I'm new to it all. Apparently I'm running 1.1.13

Is there a simple way within the admin panel to upgrade to 2.0?

Thanks,
TJ

Illori

there is no way and will be no way to use the admin panel to upgrade to another major version/release of smf.

SMF 2.0 is currently in Release Candidate state. Final version of SMF 2.0 will be out very soon. I suggest you to stay on SMF 1.1.13 until then.

HI, do you still suggest waiting before trying the newest beta release? What risk factors are involved with upgrading now?
Thanks.

That's your decision to make really but many of us are using the 2.0 branch and well there is a support section if anything breaks ;)

I suppose I'm wondering more about security issues? I'd like to upgrade to 2.0. Basically I've backed up the databases and I'm to upload the files that come with the 2.0 upgrade zip file directly to the folder that all forum files are in, correct?

If you read and follow the instructions, you will have no problems with the upgrade... If I can do it, anyone can!!!

Kindred

1- there are no known security issues with 2.0RC5.
2- If you have installation or upgrade questions, please ask them in the support boards, not in the Site Comments board. This area is not for support.
