Themes and version 1.1 beta 3

A lot of the themes that I have installed on my forum worked well on version 1.0.5, but since I've upgraded, all of the old ones now give me lots of errors. The members are annoyed and I'm banging my head on the desk. Is there any way to save the old themes, or should I just discard them?

Themes have changed from 1.0 to 1.1.  I recommend that you get rid of your 1.0 themes and make way for 1.1 themes.

There are some themes that are 1.1-compatible.  Like my latest theme .

This coz the 1.1 template system is total different then the 1.0.x template system.
so i suggest you look for any 1.1 available templates

Its not like the theme system is TOTALLY diferent, just more features and changed javascript routines...so it will produce errors. Especially when there are a lot of templates in the custom theme.

If it is a theme you yourself have created and need help to update, just PM me and I will try to help out. Custom themes downloaded from this site I will leave alone though - except for my own of course.

The old themes are all gone now. Most of them were canned themes that I found here, but some were ones that I modified myself with special backgrounds and text formatting, pretty basic stuff. So now it's time for me to start shopping again. ^_^;;

The old Helios theme was one of the favorites we had, so I'm using the new one now which is fine for the general forum. However a lot of the members have their own individual boards that I made for them and they lost their individualized themes that were in them, including myself ^_^;;

i guess that themes have to splited up in two categories

1). 1.0.X themes
2). 1.1 Themes
