Synchronizing issues between Joomla, CB and SMF

Greetings!

My users are being kicked out of the CMS due to poor sychronizing. What I'm experiencing is a logout when clicking to view SMF. Users are fine while navigating through Joomla, however upon any attempt to access SMF the user is kicked out, automatically logged out by SMF. Also, a second direct login to SMF is required to maintain synchronization while navigating between both Joomla and SMF.

I've been experiencing problems synchronizing between Joomla v1.0.11 and SMF v.1.1RC2.
I've tried Joomla-SMF Forum Component, by JoomlaHacks, and Joomla - SMF Bridge Community Builder Version by http://www.elearningforce.dk , which cost $50 and has never worked. SimpleMachines also has a Joomla Bridge available from it's download page, Joomla Bridge 1.1.6; but it's not CommunityBuilder compatible from what I've read.

Perhaps we should do a poll for the best SMF Bridge?

Neither of those is supported here.  You will find better support for those products on their respective sites.

I suppose that depends on your definition of "compatible".  You can still use CB, and use the CB registration component.  You cannot use the CB login module, and changes made in the CB profile do not automatically change the SMF profile.

Thanks for your reply! I'm also using AEC Component (Account Expiration Component) which requires it's own login module. Will Joomla Bridge 1.1.6 work with AEC?
I assume SMF v.1.1RC2 may not be compatible w/ Joomla Bridge 1.1.6.

SMF 1.1 RC2 is compatible with bridge 1.1.6, but you should upgrade to SMF 1.1.1 for your own security.

The bridge will work with AEC, but not with the AEC login module.  The AEC login module has no way to set a SMF cookie.
