How to get rid of a database completely?

This is just cleaning up a trial 1.1.13 forum.

I don't see any way to delete the mysql db in phpmyadmin. The db is listed. I can open it. I selected all the tables and then selected 'drop these tables.' Now there aren't any tables at all, but the db is still named in phpmyadmin.

I realize it might not be taking up much space at all but just to keep things clear and organized, I would like to get rid of the db title in phpmyadmin too. Is there any way I can do this?

I'm using the DirectAdmin control panel in case that makes a difference, but comments based on any other control panel would probably help.

Don't know your host arrangement, but you should be able to drop the db in your host control panel.

You're right. I was expecting to do it through phpmyadmin, but it turned up under mysql admin. (sigh)

Thanks for the comment, it made me take another look around.
