IE8 Displays Forum poorly

All other browsers display my forum great. 

IE8 just doesn't show up properly.  Anyone know how to fix this?
If I use the normal subs.php file it displays just fine.

I am using global headers and footers and this seems to mess up the display for IE8.

Using the latest 2 GM release.

Mind providing the code you are including in the header and the footer areas?

All code was done in Dreamweaver, I am sure I have some stuff in there that I should not.

Try removing the </style> and </head> lines. You should also consider moving this line:

Strange, when I take all the header code out, the page still displays wrong in IE8.

When I take the Global Headers code out of Subs.php, the page displays fine again in IE8.

I uninstalled GH, re-installed it and same issue.

I posted this in GH support forum, so hopefully someone will have seen this before.
Search has not found a similar case.
