What is wrong with firebird? I tell ya it would not be installed if I didn't need to check for compatibility.

how can I made this waste of disk space understand width 160px;??

firebird is driving me crazy shouldn't a nested <div> inherent in width of it's parent so that,
<div style="width: 160px;">
<div style="width: 100%;">
this should be 100% of 160px right??
</div></div>

how can I make it so this poor piece of scarp code understands this??

also how can I make it so firebird uses this?
style="cursor: hand;"

or maybe I just likes messing with me, does it do it for anyone else??

my Mozzila version: Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1

First of all get Firebird 0.7.

Other than that no idea.

First, calm down.  Nice tall glasses of water help.  Cold water is always better ;).

100% of 160px IS 160px. Maybe something wrong with your html, but I've used it several times before just like that and it works dandy for me.  Maybe you should post a link/some html.

It's not cursor: hand.  There's no such cursor.  It's called "cursor: pointer;" - read the w3c spec.

That link works okay for me... not sure what's so wrong.  And I have no idea what Mozzila is ::) :P.

hey I only misspelled it once out of three! :P ;D

here is the main body of the template
class=leftblock is in css with width: 160px;
<table border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="5" width="100%" align="center" >
  <tr>
  <td class="leftblock" width="160"><yabb sblocksl></td>
  <td width="<yabb cwidth>" valign="top">
    <yabb sblocksc>
    <yabb main><br />
    <yabb sblocksbc></td>
  </tr>
</table>

then <yabb sblocksl> these are set in an css file

<div style="width: 160px;">
<div style="width: 100%;">
<content table>
</div></div>

then the <content table>
<table class="blocktable" cellspacing="0" width="100%">
   <tr>
      <th>header</th>
   </tr><tr>
      <td>content</td>
   </tr>
</table><br />

and all these content table's or blocks are set at 100% of the cell there nested in. how (more ways) should I be telling mozilla to render this? :D

this is what it's doing

sorry I have been consulting w3c alot and just asked off topic befor looking :-[ but thank you! it worked! :D

thanks for the help [Unknown]!

I would check to make sure that your html is valid, but it works perfectly for me in Firebird 0.7+...

I guess since there are no numbers on that list you posted in chit chat for 0.6.1 I should upgrade to .7+ since that looks standard

and the only thing that will not validate is the info section
<div style="float: right; text-align: right; margin-right: 5px;">
validator.w3.org

I didn't put that there! ;D :P

and css validates!

perhaps I've been chasing a Firebird/0.6.1 bug!?

Aquilo

well 7mb dl and time wasted I should have downloaded Mozilla not 40 thousand line bad edit of mozilla, nothing changed!

http://www.xtram.net/banners/mozilla2.gif

and yes I followed there instructions /deleted the old C:\Program Files\MozillaFirebird directory and replaced it and click on MozillaFirebird.exe and that's it - ya that's it nothing changed! ::)

ok I'll edit this in a moment if this works - I'll create a new profile with MozillaFirebird.exe -p

Aquilo

well I deleted the default profile and created a new one restared the computer and now firebird
can't display SMF right!?!?

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7.sucks

something intresting my default skin at xtram works good in firebird
when the page loads the left menu IS full screen but then pulls to the
right width and this skin couldn't validate if I paid w3c to say it's valid

http://www.xtram.net/index.php?op=forum&Style=Xtram5.0

I think there is a bug that requires the structure or most of the structure
to be tables becouse that skin is almost all tables while the others are
mostly/a big part divs with nested tables and the others valicate!

there it is Fireflop can't use valid coding! ;D :P

Acf

For the hand you could use a ani/ico file for something like that, because that is valid w3c :)
Sigh...

[Unknown]

Again, it works for me, I dunno why your computer is smoking crack.
