Database installing problem... help

Hello,I ve been changed my forum website cuz of some problems and i've only database save. x.sql. im installed forum 2.0 smf version everything is default general catagories etc just installed and then im installed sql file via php admin (import) and still the same it does not work.i don't know why it does not work.i need to get back my "topics,post,catagories and registered users" please i need help today really

was your backup database the same version of smf you installed? if not then you need to upload the files in the upgrade package and run upgrade.php

i had installed many package but i cant remember hxxp:all.one [nonactive] of them was "tinyportal". there are something like that on phpadmin db , smf3xx_(i forgot the numbers) and smf_ after that _ all the same things

that does not answer my question, what version of smf were you running when you got this database backup? have you run upgrade.php on the database at all?

If you can I would go back to the original forum, disable all mods, run a database backup and then restore your backup and install the same version SMF files you had on the original forum, then upgrade from there.
