Adding a writing box

i was wondering if there is any way to add a box in eather admin pannel and/or members profile pannel, one that you could write in and save/deleate messages that you just quickly write down in it, (or like if it were for the admin pannel, other admins could read it)  somthing like what InvisionFree has
