We all know about spammers! they are growing rapidly. The forum bots are created their new module for smf2.0  .
The bots support image verification,questions also they can change IP address in every 5 minutes.
That type 100 of bots spammed my unique SMF forum into a junk box.

So its a humble request  "SMF team will you change the/update/alter the registration structure in monthly??" Because they can't do huge types of spam, if we got this  type facility like paid forum scripts we can give a sweet sile !!!!!!!!

why cant you use one or more anti-spam mod? there are several on the mod site that can limit or even eliminate the spam problem.

Hey that bot automatically changing its ip every 2-5minute so how it will useful?

if they have features of a bot or ip address that have been used before some of the anti-spam mods compare to a known database of spammers and can stop them in their tracks anyway.

You can also utilize the registration verification questions feature already built into 2.0  Use 2 or more questions and preferably have them pertain to your forum or forum's main subject or theme. Most of the bots will not answer the questions and the registrations will fail.
