I mean, when mails are sent to users, the mails are from <random numbers>@bluehost.com, which is my host, though, my board email address is Admin@<mydomainname>.com

I remember when i use phpbb, the mails that are sent will be my board's email, which is Admin@<mydomainname>.com

Supposed to be like this, or...?

Thanks!

LetterBox

Yup, it's correct. Admin@<mydomainname>.com

Illori

try setting up smtp to send your mail instead of php and see if that helps any.

LetterBox

Hmm, how do i do that?

Theres the SMTP server, SMTP port, SMTP username and SMTP password....

What do all these mean? Sorry, totally totally a novice.

Illori

you would need to contact your host to see if they have smtp server setup and if so they can give you that information.

LetterBox

Omg, thanks for the help Illori. Bluehost's support gave me this link :

Illori

sounds like the email address you are using does not actually exist as you did not create it, but your host would be best to answer that.

LetterBox

I am totally sorry, but i managed to figure it out already.

You can call me anything ..... i had my admin@<mydomainname>.com on godaddy hosting and i am using blue host, i thought it work.

OK, i don't know why i thought like this. LOL, forgive me. i now feel stupid... THANKS anyway! (:
