Hide all traces of Private Forum

I have a private forum with 2.0.1. I want to remove any trace of the private forum on the site. I noticed that the private forum shows the private board in the total in more stats. It also shows user posts are a higher number, since some are in the private forum.

Is it possible to remove all traces of a private forum, without revoking access to memberlist and stats for general users? I am useing the Fresh Looks theme.

you can disable the post count for the board, by unticking the check box in admin - forum - boards - modify boards - then the modify link next to the board you want to be private.

this will stop the user posts being higher, not sure if it will have an effect on the other stats.
