Email members

I have a question. When I start a new thread or post how can the forum automatically sends the members an email that a thread and/or post has been started/posted on the forum?

Before you post it, click the "+" next to "Attachments and other options", then check the box next to "Announce topic". That will email all members about the topic.

That only works if it's a new topic though - there is no way to notify all members about a new post in an existing topic.

Thank you, I have another question that is also goes with this. If I put an image on the first post to send a announcement will the members will see the image in there image or just a link to that image?

If you put an image in a new post announcement. Will the image show in their email or will it show an link where the image is?
