Removing email and FTP button

How can I remove these buttons, email from the user profile screen and the FTP button from the new/reply post screen? Thanks for any help you can give me. I'm familiar with PHP but the code I've worked on before is a lot more basic than the code for the forum.

Removing ftp is a lot easier.

Go to Administration Center » Posts and Topics » Bulletin Board Code- then just uncheck the ftp option.

do be aware if you are removing the email button because you fear it will expose your users to spam, don't worry --  the "email a user" button does not expose their email address -- it opens a form within the forum which sends an email (but the target is hidden from the sender).

Also, users can turn OFF the ability for other forum users to email them in their own profiles.
