I found a problem in a forum, when I try to look it up I see the next error message:

Quote
Template Parse Error!
It seems something has gone sour on the forum with the template system. This problem should only be temporary, so please come back later and try again. If you continue to see this message, please contact the administrator.

You can also try refreshing this page.

As far as I know nothing is changed before this started. But.......  There was a problem at the host, the day before the default page of the host was shown and the site couldn't be reached by FTP.

It's a RC3 forum which should be updated very shortly after now, preparations where already made.
Most important is to get the site up and running, after that an upgrade to SMF2.0.2 will be made.

What I have tried:

running the side with www.tienerproblemen.nl/index.php?theme=1
running the side with www.tienerproblemen.nl/index.php?action=admin
running repair_settings,
repairing tables
replacing all theme files from a backup I made a week before the problems exist
replacing the themes table by a fresh one  (paths corrected)
replacing the settings tables by a fresh one   (paths corrected)

I've setup a new forum in a subdir, with another table prefix. This new forum runs fine. As soon as I change the table prefix of this new forum to the old table prefix I have the same problem in the new forum as in the old forum, so it has at least to do with a setting in the database.

And now ? I can't find any option to get this solved, maybe somebody her can give me the golden tip ?

Ricky.

You can do upgrade without fixing the template error too, simply download large upgrade, replace existing files with new upgrade files and run upgrade. It should solve the problem.
However, have you tried replacing Default theme files with fresh downloaded from SMF package ?

PS: Why your have links are leading to  : http://www.myside.nl/index.php?theme=1 instead of ..
www.tienerproblemen.nl/index.php?theme=1

If I do an upgrade right now I'll loose all of the MOD's. Thta's not the way we want it.

The upgrade shoulld be done on a shadow site, all MOD should be reinstalled, everything should be tested, and just after that the site should be removed to keep the downtime as short as possible.

And the links ? Maybe because I've editted the name atfterwarts to make it possible to helpers to take a look at theirselve ;)

Ricky.

www.tienerproblemen.nl/index.php?theme=2

Access it with above url,

PS: You should mod made specifically current version , but not for previous version.

Anyways.

Goodluck !

You are awfull :D Site is at least available again.

Even changing the default theme don't work anymore but with an SQL query all members are on theme 2 now and with a database edit the default board theme is 2.

This is enough to have time to make a new site ready for launching.
As far as I can see Host have changed the default root path.

Problem isn't really solved but I will mark solved now.
