Maybe you should be able to change what happens to the users posts when they delete themselves.

It would be nice if their posts werent deleted and simply said they were posted by a guest.

This way conversation will still make sense

But then why you deleteing them if you want them to remain, you can delete a user and keep all posts and topics by them
