Here's what I'd like to do...  Admins can send/receive PM's with any member, but members can only PM an Admin and not each other.  Is there any easy way to do something like this?

Godsongz

Along those lines, I might be able to accomplish the above goal by making edits so that all PM's automatically go to the Admin, removing the "To:" input box entirely, no?

Kindred

no, there is no easy way to do it...

yes, you could change the source to remove the to box and send it directly to user 1... or to all admins - but only by adding the individual admin IDs into the code...

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

I'm ok with that.  Any idea what I need to change?  PersonalMessage.php is a big chunk of code.

Kindred

actually, I think you'd go to personalmessages.template.php

of course, you may have to change it in multiple places, since there are several places to send PMs to users...
