cookies problem?

a couple of months ago I made changes (portal,gallery) to my boards and all works well.

but

I have one member who gets sent from the portal to an old (as in "not updated posts" ) opy of the boards. Far as i know he is the only one affected.
He wants to delete cookies from my forum  (but not all cookies)...................is there a standard SMF name or something that will enable him to identify which ones he is looking for ?

It depends on his browser. If he's using FireFox, he can remove cookies based on the site/domain name. In IE, it appears to be all or nothing.

There's lots of help about deleting cookies via Mr Google but all should be related to the domain name.
