I've just installed my first SMF forum. It looks very very nice...

I'm wondering how I can do this with guests:
- display the forums, topics and when they enter the topic(s) every post should say "REGISTER NOW TO SEE THIS POST" and then redirect it to the registration page.

Any help is appreciated.

There's a mod that will allow to do what you want.

not compatible with 2.0.2

It says it's compatible with 2.0.1, so "emulating" 2.0.1 with your forum (which temporarily changes the version number) will very likely allow it to install on 2.0.2. Some manual editing may still be needed.

You'd be surprised how many don't bother.

I'm really lucky. My hostess, who's a member, here, takes full backups of all my sites, every day, and they're available through CPanel.

Seems that most don't.
