- switch on emulation for 2.0.4.
- then install this mod
- then turn off the 2.0.4 emulation after that?

it turns off anyway but turn it back on if you ever wish to uninstall it.

It means YES. You'll not be able to install the mod until you set a version that the package likes, eg 2.0.4

After a while it will regress to your current version but you can set it back to 2.0.12 manually.
