404 error from a mod

I'm getting a 404 error when I log out of the site from the index page.....says the page not found....the page is domain/action=forum .......

What I'd like to do is remove anything that is sending me to this page at log out.....(I assume that would be the easiest way to resolve)...ie. have it send to another page or stay on the index page ......

I know this is occurring due to a mod involving the function of that forum button (edited in the subs file).....the mod is working  fine......well, except for this.....

.....only occurs when logging out from the index page.....so it seems like the logout tries to send the user to that page /action=forum

can anyone advise ?

I solved it...apparently the "remember position after login/logout" mod uses this function....uninstalling that mod resolves the 404 issue.....although a logout no longer stays on the same page......
