User Online/Offline Indicator

I am setting up a new SMF forum. I have one other one. I broke something by the looks of it. A minor thing but it irks me. So before I delete everything and start over I thought I would see if anyone has an idea better than that.

I've attached some images to illustrate.

Image 1 shows what my status indicator looks like with the standard SMF Curve scheme. There is a tiny square that is green when the user is online and is clear when the user is not online.

Image 2 shows what I see when I switch to the color changed theme I made with Colorizeit     Note the green square is replaced with the word "online". The offline indicator is still a clear square. Puzzling.

Image 3 is just a shot of the member list with the indicators.

The really annoying thing is that the word 'Online' appears in the same size font as the user name, to the left of the post the member made. Very distracting.

I answered my question. The  'useron.gif'  file was corrupt. I D/L'd it to my desktop and it could not be opened. So I D/L'd one from a different forum setup and it opened okay. Replaced the corrupt file with the good one and all is fine. Sorry for not thinking of looking at the image file first.  Live n learn I guess.
