Show username in browser status bar instead of user id number u=2506 etc

instead of showing u=1606 show u=dr.it or username=dr.it

This came in handy for me as an admin to track who was who since my users change their screenname everyday.

I think that you would have to change ALOT of data in ALOT of files to do what is being asked

Even then, it wouldn't work, since there are characters allowed in usernames which don't work at all in urls...

Does it, Arantor?   I would imagine there would be MANY problems because of the characters (like stupid symbols and spaces)

Kindred: Yes, it's an option of the mod. If I remember rightly it uses the username not the display name, which actually curbs a lot of the hassle. And it does some transliteration, just as it does for topic names.
