looking for a way to allow Guest to forum news. i can't find any permissions to turn News on or off for Guests

There is no permission to view the news, I do not think.... Everyone sees it, always.

It visible to all, but at all, for make permissions, use this:

Advanced new is not compatable with 2.0.4  Thanks anyway

When I go to my forum as a guest I am unable to vew the forum news. I have to be logged in in order to see it.

1 are you using the standard and actual forum news? Or are you using some mod?
2 if you need to install a mod, read the FAQ in the wiki....
Any mod for 2.0.x will work with any other 2.0.x
