404 error

Ive set  my forum as "registered only" by taking guest access off forum boards

But when I disabled guest access on re: admin/features options ...this disables the "forum" tab !  thats great , but then when I try to login I get an error 404 ?

You are probably using a portal, or else you won't have a "forum" tab.

404 is a "not found" error. You have to check which file is missing. But that's a strange error
