Hello all,
well, I really need your help, please help me as soon as possible.
My problem in my free forum, my theme is "Epic" I changed the theme's color and the forum went down !

Colors are normally in index.css. Not sure why the index.template fails to load? Where exactly did this color change take place?
No, I will not offer free downloads to Premium DzinerStuido themes. Please stop asking.

MrPhil

The obvious first step is to restore the backups of the file(s) you changed. No backups? Then back out every change that you made? Then show us the "before and after" for every change you made since your forum last worked. Did you edit these file(s) on your PC? If so, what kind of server (Windows or Linux) and what kind of PC? How EXACTLY did you transfer the files back and forth?

It's most likely that you screwed up something editing or FTPing, but there's always a chance that the server has file corruption problems, or you've been hacked.

also, I will note that "I need help" is a buck useless thread title.
Most of the support folks (both on and off the team) skim the titles looking for thigns we can help with.
"help" or variations on "I need help" provide no information and, more than half the time, are ignored in favor of a more descriptive title
"I tried to install a theme and crashed my site" would have been better.

Finally... even aside from the suggestion made on how to restore a backup...    HOW did you install the theme? How did you "change the theme's color"?
Did the theme work with the standard colors when your first installed it?
If so, then I suggest that you copy fresh theme files into yoru "epic" theme directory, right form the theme package.

Another problem, when I try to open the "Themes" folder it fails and says:

Well, is there any way to re-install the theme ?

I didnt do anything on PC, everything on the website, Setting => color and I changed the color...

well, that would be a problem there...   you will have to get permissions to that theme directory.

do you mean that there is a setting in the current theme fields of SMF admin and you tried to change the color there?

This is why you really need to ask for help in the theme support topic --  because we have no clue what special settings any cutsom thee may use.

Could you give me the board link, please ?

Kindred

the theme support topic won't help much right now...   something that you did - or some configuration on your system, has made the theme directory inaccessible.

I'd suggest checking with your host at this point.......
