Group assignment issues with mediawiki bridge

Good day.

I am attempting to setup the mediawiki bridge, and whatever I do, the wiki doesn't seem to be assigning groups over to the wiki.

$wgSMFAdminGroupID = array(1); This doesn't even assign the sysop group to users which are administrators on the forum.

The users get registered in the user table when they first visit the wiki, but no groups are being assigned at all, and the user_groups table is empty. I have truncated both tables multiple times to make sure that it wasn't a username conflict. I have also tried three different versions of mediawiki (1.21.3, 1.20.8 and 1.19.9) without any luck. I am using smf 2.0.6 on the forum side.

Other than that, I don't have any ideas, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, it looks like I managed to fix it, but it involved playing around with the bridge code a little.
