Why are made using the member name as sender, using the forum email and using a reply-to: the real user email?
Wich is the idea behind that? Its better because... ?

The problem is that in some cases the reply-to doesnt work, and the forum email receives personal messages... other times, by some not known reason, people add those "fake" email as contact, and then send emails to it thinking that forum member will receive it (as they see the username on that contact)....

Theres two option pm a member or email, when a member emails another its sent from the email the board was set up with. I think this is to protect peoples email. When you get the replies to emails, it's because they didn't read it to well. It says clearly not to reply. I believe you can just block members from emailing.

Hope that is helpful.

Well... the problem behind this is phones like blackberry, that do not handle properly the replyto... so answers goes to the forum email.

I mean, they used the Sent email option... to be contacted by the other member... in proper software this works ok, but it looks like the BB OS developers do not know about the replyto statement...
