Connection Problems

Hello gentlemen/ladies.

I'm afraid I have retrieved an error that says this when I attempt to enter my forums which is really irritating me, this also happens to my friend when he attempts to enter my forums:

Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

I have done numerous times (and asking with my friend's assistance) to help me search Google for the error and hopefully retrieve the fix to this problem, we've done this since yesterday morning and we haven't found anything that seems to fix this problem.

If needed, feel free to ask me what other information you need in the comments, if someone can please find the fix to this problem and notify me about it, much would be appreciated.

a) you have your database information configured incorrectly
or
b) you have a poor host whose connection to the database is iffy

Anyways, I'm using 000webhost as my host for the forums.

Yup, if you are using 000webhost, you are going to get that... They are a known over seller host.

Do you have any fixes for this problem at all?

There are several good hosts listed on our hosts and hosting board.

Personally, I use icdsoft.

Help, I have the same problem.  Every few minutes I get an email from the server that says:
There has been a problem with the database!

This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues.

it started about 2 weeks ago.  in the past they just go away. 
I am with GoDaddy.  and the site seems to work for me at my station.

nothing we can do to help... the issue is, 100%, on the host side.
