Change topic starter name?

Is it possible to change the name of a topic starter (the user that posted) in SMF 2.0.8? For example. I want to change the author of a post I made to another member and have it show up as them as the original poster. I am the admin of my forum as well - is this something that can be done?

Database> table yourprefix_topics> id_member_started

Database> table yourprefix_topics> id_member_started

you would also have to change the users name that is in that table as well. changing things in the database is really not recommended unless you know what you are doing.

in other words...  while it might be possible, it is complicated. there is no simple way to do what you are asking.
