Some images refuse to display in posts

Hi, I'm getting a weird, and annoying, behavior where some image files simply will not show in the body of a post.

If you want an example, I've included two right above THIS line of text (if you quote this post you can see the image tags).  I am unable to see these in multiple browsers yet the bulk of the images I use are seen just fine.  The first image above is a .png and the second is the same image exported from PhotoShop CS6 as a .jpg.  To get this one to work (since it comes up just fine if you enter the link by itself outside of the forum), I had to take a screenshot and import that into PS (trim and save).

Not sure what to even look for here.  It's not a browser issue, not a format issue (.png vs. .jpg), not a security issue, but there's "something" about these types of files that cause a problem with SMF.

Thanks,

Craig

It's not an SMF issue as such, since those image url's don't show anything visible even outside of SMF (ie: direct browser access).

Not sure what you mean, they show just fine with direct browser access.  Here's both screenshots (let me know if you can't see these - there may be an ISP DNS issue again).

I can see both images in the first post....

I do not see the image, until I turn off ad blocker.
OP, try turning off your browser's ad blocker addon, and refresh the page here.

Hmm...  Yep, that worked for me as well.  What I can't figure out is why 95% of the images work just fine (the site is full of "ad" banners since it's a review site).

Oh well, thanks for the help!  I'm marking this one as solved!

K@, have you changed the ad-blocker from the default settings?
I have not, yet.... But I will be soon, when get around to it....LOL

EDIT:

The default list has the size numbers so they are blocked. T%hat is why the images in first post were blocked for me, as they have the size numbers in their filenames.

Probably. It's been a while and my memory module's in need of repair... ;)
