OK - I get it now thanks.

This add-on generates its own SEF URL's and uses .htaccess to do a permanent 301 redirect of the SEO4SMF pages in Google to the new SEF URL's.

I was still thinking in terms of recreating the old SEO4SMF format URLs, hence the misunderstanding.

Anyway this would work well enough.

In any case, I'm amazed that you didn't get hacked, seeing how SEO4SMF had some nasty security vulnerabilities in it.
