Changing password with apostrophe results in profile error.

The original password contains an apostrophe.

When I try to change it using account settings, I get The password you entered was not correct as an error. Can anyone else confirm this? I'm using SMF 1.1.20.

Fairly sure this was a known bug in 1.1.x years ago and it isn't going to get fixed now.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.
