How do I change the title format of topics from Topic 123 to Topic 123 - ForumName

The setting on Optimus Brave only alters search engine titles and not local page titles on the forum.

ummm... what are you talking about. There is no "search engine title" that is different from the standard "title" tag - and optimus brave correctly sets the title tag as you define in the admin settings.

Also - mod specific questions really need to e asked in the support topic dedicated to supporting that mod.

No, this is not about Optimus Brave. I am talking about browser titles for topics on SMF. The mod does what it says by changing the titles for search engines which I can clearly see in search, but not on my forum pages.

Afaik, Search engine specific titles exist. I have seen it in the Wordpress seo plugin by Yoast.

One proof that I have that the standard titles are different from what's displayed in search is - For every SMF forum I have come across, even on a clean install, standard topic titles show as "Topic 123" while on search engines they are shown as "Topic 123 - ForumName"

I have Optimus Brave installed on 6 forums at the moment.
Every single one of them displays
Thread Name - Site Name
on the browser title bar, just as I instructed it to do...
