adding index to email_address in smf_members table

Hi,

Would there be a problem or concerns with adding an index on the "email_address" column in the smf_members table?

I have some custom sql where I join that table with another on email address, and the sql would run much quicker if that column was indexed.

i believe this was already done in 2.1 [fresh installs only], so there should be no harm in doing it to 2.0.
