SEO for SMF

Hi guys,

Just installed SMF for the first time (2.0.10) and just wondering what the best way of achieving search friendly URLs is?

It is a built-in featured that can be flicked on and off, or do I need some sort of addon for it?

Sorry if this is a silly question, not used this at all before.

SMF doesn't have "search engine friendly URLs" in its core. If you want to have them (even if they offer 0 benefits) --> http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=636
