Preview bbc image tags as thumbs whilst writing posts SMF forum?

Hello SMF devs,

Is there a way to preview bb tagged images inside the post box? Not by clicking "preview" but as you're pasting bb image urls in?

For example:

not without some additional coding to include ajax in the post page (which it does not have)

Although, you could TRY the wysiwyg editor (however, I don't recommend it... it's buggy as hell)
