RSS Feed Options Not Working

Hi, I have multiple forums and I want to add the feeds from each to a Blog but having a few problems:


  • I've changed the character count (News & Newsletter settings) from 255 to 40 but the output remains the same.
  • I've tried the URL action=.xml;type=rss but this shows OLD posts NOT new ones? (not at the 40 characters I specified)
  • URL type=rss;action=.xml shows new posts but again NOT at the specified limit.

Don't forget that rss can only get what a guest can see.

As for the limit, it should work but I need to check at the computer
