Hi,

I searched a lot for how to have an editor that doesn't show the source, but I couldn't find a mod or setting for it. An editor for all part of the forum (quick reply, pm, ...)
How can I do it in SMF 2.0 ?

What you're looking for may be a WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get), also sometimes called Visual Editor. SMF has one by default, there should be settings for it from the admin center.

I checked the below option in "member option" in "Themes and Layout" in "Admin"
"Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default."
But when I wanna bold a text it writes [b ][ /b]

Illori

the built in WYSIWYG editor does not work well, and we recommend not using it.

Gwenwyfar

Enabling that allows you to toggle between normal and WYSIWYG with a button on the posting area (right side).

What's the problem with it? (Rarely ever used it, seemed ok).

I found this one; don't know if it's still functional: https://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3453
I tried it before, it's only for quick reply, and not everywhere.
