Alternate Text Mod

Okay.  I'm gonna take some time now and put my personal mod site together (with forums ) and see if I can reproduce the 1.1.3 issue.

On second thought.... I'll just try and get my dev server up and running locally, then work on this.

WebWorm:  Sorry for the delay.  No, I haven't had a chance to look into it.  I've been extremely busy between a my girlfriends mother-in-law (her sisters mother-in-law) passing away, a family reunion, work, and now my cousin passing away, that getting a chance to set up the server to function has been difficult.  Hopefully this week will calm down a bit and I can take a look.

I promise, first chance I get, I'll test this out.

Okay.  Got my dev server up, installed a clean SMF 1.1.3 package, downloaded the 0.3 release, installed it (got that same error you see about compatibility) and fixed it.  I released an update to 0.3 and changed the download(s).

The new download is 0.3.1 which will work with 1.1 RC3 through 1.1.3   Let me know how it goes.

I get this when installing:

1.     Execute Modification     ./Sources/Load.php     Test failed

I'd like to just install to see what happens, but only if nothing big blows up. If posting my Load file or installing manually will help, I'll do it.

Went ahead and installed - nothing blew up, and the Alt Text field appears on the Membergroups page, BUT no alternate text appears when image is moused over.

Hmm.... not all browser support the "roll over" effect.  I guess I could try to make it a link so it displays no matter what, or maybe add some quick javascript to show a pop-up, but that's a little too much for something this simple.

My browser (Firefox) supports the rollover effect, and I'm still curious as to why I get the "Test failed" with the Load.php file.

Maybe I'll try a fresh install and see if anything changes.

The Load.php file error might be because of a mod you have installed.  A fresh install of SMF works fine with this mod.

I use firefox too, so it should work.

When I get more free-time, I'll take a peek at porting a "safe" version for those already utilizing Multiple Badges mod.
