Anyone using 2.1.x in a production site with high traffic?

I know developers advise against deploying this version to a production site, but a question for those who did it nevertheless: what's your experience so far?

I don't have high traffic on my site but so far I love it. It'll be great once it is done. It's a bit of work to keep up with what is on GH but if you don't mind that then are are no problems.

how often do you update the site with the github releases? can you share a link to your forum?

https://www.whatsurbeef.net  I just updated 2 days ago and before that I think it was a month I waited. I update when I see a lot of progress being made at GH

do keep in mind that if you do run 2.1 in production there are changes that may not show up due to how the database upgrade is run and you may need to track down the changes and apply them manually. this is why we dont recommend using 2.1 in production at this time.
