Problem installing a Mod, but only affects one theme, can I install anyway?

I want to install the mod Images On Board 3.0.  It passes all the tests but three and they are only on the Core theme.  We don't use the Core theme, so can I install it anyway?

Have tried searching for the text to change, but for one of the three the part I am to put it after doesn't exist.

Yes, as long as you (or your members)  are not using the core theme, it is ok to install.

You might want to make sure the theme isn't used though, and either disable it or remove it, to avoid odd errors popping up some time later.
