Changing background image

Hello there,
I am trying to change my theme's background picture and logo at moje-pravo.com [nofollow].
I am aware that I need to change the line in code in index.css or at least that os what i am being told. Now, for example the code is like:

background: url("../images/theme/bg.png")

if I change "bg.png" to "bg1.png" and upload a picture with the same name in the folder named theme, the background remains the same - unchanged.

Am I doing soemthing wrong and can someone tell me how to change the background image?

Did you refresh  your browsers cache?

Also, there's an error showing in your copyright area.

I see the background on your site, but it literally took 15 seconds to load. Could be my connection though.

I cleared the cached as suggested. It worked. Now getting ready to figure out an adequate background image.
Have to see also how to change the logo.

All I did was I changed the background image. How do I get this error message removed from the homepage?
What about logo: moje-pravo. I would want to insert an image besides the text: moje-pravo. How do I do that, i.e. which line of code do I need to change?

Something is really wrong with your site. Background is there but the people image moved from the top right corner to the middle left. Your menu images aren't there and your footer is broken.
