SMF on a cell phone

I visted this forum on my cell phone the other day durring work and it really looked awsome, any other forum i visted looked horrible in my cel phone browser, the only problem i noticed is when i collapsed a category i had to login though a regualr computer and uncloapse the category that way, i couldn't with my cell phone, but besides that, it was great.

XHTML + CSS = Better browser compatibility. XHTML Strict for example SHOULD work basically the same on any browser, even ones that don't support CSS (thanks to semantic markup).

Most mobile phones don't have proper browsers, and xhtml won't work. Which is why we have wap and imode systems

Apart from that, most wireless devices won't allow a page to be much bigger than 10 kB and the operators often ask a lot of money for a bit of bandwidth.

As for the collapsing of categories, you're right, it shouldn't be a one way action. Will fix that in 1.1 RC3.
