  • this site is going to be a collection of people who identify as patriots, and- yeah- that's a slippery slope.
  • it's main intent is to remove/port a board and its members from another site that has turned purely political and is disrupting the overarching community.
  • the primary focus is politics, and the communication/posts will be civil or they will be removed.  we've seemed to have lost our direction as a melting pot and instead find ourselves at odds without even attempting civil discussion... it is that missing element that leads to understanding and breeds tolerance- tolerance in the true sense, not that which is tossed around as a measure of assimilation.
  • there are good folks from every single walk of life on this spinning rock, and then there are those nobody would want to claim.  the hope is to provide the existing group a place to discuss these things and find common ground and values that are universal, and perhaps ensnare more people of like thought process.

about the forum:
SMF2.1RC3 |  running php7.1 for the time being | apache/mpm-worker/fpm-fastcgi

Now, i don't purport to offer anything spectacular with the design at this site- yes, i 'did' tweak the out of the box curve2 to appear a little more modern and sleek, but that isn't the interest with this site and it isn't why i post it- the reason i share it here is because it entwines wordpress and SMF in appearance, and it utilizes woocommerce (from WP) as well as the blogging capabilities into SMF's indexing- allowing local ads to be displayed from the resident shop, as well as articles from the blog.  WP is the frontend, but only because it reigns with tools available to broadcast and publish through affiliate/linked communities which is something i haven't figured out how to make SMF do with consistency (regardless of API's and RSS's).  However, there is nothing in the WP realm that touches what SMF can offer as a forum.

it is in this vane they are adjoined (so to speak) even if only in appearance.

I'm certainly not suggesting this is of the caliber other coding artists could create, but, i'm hoping it demonstrates it's possible as it seems to be a recurring question elsewhere on the site here.

regardless of the site's context and intent, it is the presentation of the entwined engines that brings me here to show it.  I hope this is of some interest, curiosity, or value to SMF users.

Love the colors and the logo is much better than the previous one. Nice work. :D
My pet rock is not feeling well. I think it's stoned.
